RCMP investigate crash in Ingramport that killed 21-year-old

Halifax District RCMP is investigating a fatal crash that took place in Ingramport on Tuesday morning.

At roughly 8:10 a.m., emergency crews responded to a vehicle crash on Service Lane, near exit 5A of Highway 103.

Mounties said a Ford Mustang was travelling on the road when it reached the end of the roadway and struck boulders.

The driver and lone occupant, a 21-year-old Hubley man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said a collision reconstructionist attended the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

The crash shut down Service Lane for several hours but it has since reopened.
