Single vehicle crash causes traffic troubles in Spryfield

Police are investigating a Vehicle Collision in Spryfield.

According to Halifax Regional Police, officers were called around 5:20 a.m. to the 400 block of Herring Cove Road after reports that a single vehicle struck two utility poles.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured but power was knocked out in the area.

The investigation is in the early stages and at this time, it is not known if charges are pending.

The incident also blocked all traffic in both directions of Herring Cove Road between Dentith Road and Drysdale Road.

Police say traffic will remain blocked for an extended period of time until the utility poles are repaired.
