Juno-award winning folk artist James Keelaghan coming to Halifax

As part of an Atlantic Canadian tour to promote his latest album, James Keelaghan will perform nine shows across the region, including in Halifax.

Joined by legendary sideman and bass player David Woodhead, Keelaghan is set to perform Oct. 17 at The Carleton before taking his show to Pictou with eventual stops in Truro, Liverpool, Wolfville and beyond.

According to a release, Keelaghan is known for his keen sense of songwriting and his unmistakable rich baritone voice.

His latest album, Second-Hand, finds Keelaghan at the top of his game with ten new songs, including co-writes with Nova Scotia’s own Dave Gunning and P.E.I.’s Catherine MacLellan.
