Power outage turns out the lights for resident surrounding Lake Charles

Over 2,000 Nova Scotia Power customers were left in the dark for part of Monday morning after a large power interruption.

The utility’s website showed that the outage impacted the areas of Lake Charles, Montebello, Portobello, and Keystone Village.

The power was restored to the area around 9:00 a.m.
