Suspect flees on bike after robbing Halifax bank

The search is on for a suspect in a bank robbery that happened in Halifax on Wednesday.
Police say just before 11:30 a.m., a man entered the TD Bank on Quinpool Road, handed the teller a note and then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The employee was not physically injured, according to HRP.
Police say the man left the area on a bicycle, last seen heading northbound on Monastery Lane.
He’s described as a white man, 40 to 50 years old and about six feet tall. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a bright neon yellow/green toque, a black winter jacket, dark blue pants with horizontal, high visibility yellow and silver reflectors around each leg, gloves and his face was covered with a medical mask.
