Police investigate sudden death of Dartmouth man

Halifax Regional Police have opened an investigation into the sudden death of a man on the afternoon of Dec. 26 in Dartmouth.

At approximately 4:20 p.m., police responded to a call to the Geary St. area where a 56-year-old man was located deceased inside a tent.

The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Police state they have no further information at this time.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
