Power line fire leaves 2,500 without power in Dartmouth

Nova Scotia Power crews are responding to a power line fire resulting in outages in Dartmouth.

The utility operator says 2,563 customers are without power in the area of Lancaster Ridge.

Halifax fire was called to the scene on Sea King Drive shortly after 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

The cause of the fire is currently unknown.

Nova Scotia Power estimates time of restoration around 2:00 p.m.
