Canada-wide arrest warrant issued for Halifax man

A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a Halifax man wanted for kidnapping and multiple firearm-related and breach of probation offences.
The incidents in question occurred in Halifax in January and were reported to police in March.
On March 20, an arrest warrant was issued for 38-year-old Geordie Whyte.
Police say the victim involved in the incidents was known to Whyte and did not sustain any physical injuries.
Whyte is described as approximately 200 lbs and 6’2” tall with short black hair.
Investigators are asking anyone who sees Whyte or has information on his whereabouts to call police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
