Voltigeurs shutout Mooseheads to force Game 7

The Halifax Mooseheads were unable to stop the Drummondville Voltigeurs offence as the Herd fell 6-0 on Monday night.

The Voltigeurs took an early lead in the first period and never gave it back as Adam Cavalin opened the scoring only 1:36 into the game. Jesse Allecia and Sam Oliver added goals for the Voltigeurs in the second period, and a three-goal third period from Simon-Pier Brunet, Allecia and Oliver sealed the win for Drummondville.

With the loss, the series is tied 3-3 and all comes down to game seven.

The Voltigeurs swept the three stars. Allecia and Sam earned first and second stars respectively, each with two goals. Louis-Félix Charrois earned third star for Drummondville, making 23 saves in the shutout win.
