Halifax police lay 5 more sexual assault charges against former massage therapist

A former massage therapist in Halifax is facing five additional sexual assault charges after originally getting arrested and charged in March.

On March 5, police arrested 43-year-old Sergii Kozub and charged him with one count of sexual assault.

According to HRP, he was a massage therapist working at a business on Lacewood Drive, and the assault is said to have taken place during an appointment.

He appeared in court earlier this month to face that charge but since then, more victims have come forward and police say they are now laying five additional sexual assault charges against him.

Police said Kozub is scheduled to appear in court in June, adding the investigation is ongoing.
