Police arrest armed and dangerous man in Bedford

Police have arrested a 31-year-old man who was on the run following a shooting in South Farmington Saturday morning.

Police had issued a warning, asking residents to stay indoors while they search for an armed and dangerous man who is believed to be involved in a shooting this morning.

The 31-year-old man was last seen in Bedford, and his vehicle was located in the parking lot behind Sunnyside Mall. He is currently believed to be on foot in the woods in that area.

The man is described as white, 6’3” with brown hair and brown facial hair.

The man is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Police are asking the public to avoid the area and for nearby residents to stay inside and lock their doors. Any sightings of the man should be reported to police immediately by calling 911.
