Facebook tip leads to arrest

Regional Police have arrested a man for trying to sell stolen car parts after a tip from the public.
Tuesday morning, officers recieved information that a man was trying to sell car parts on Facebook that were allegedally stolen after a break in at a store called Civic Pride on Bluewater Road in Bedford in April.
Officers got into contact with the man and set up a meeting on in Halifax were they promptly took him into custody.
Police also raided the man’s home in Herring Cove and siezed what they believe to be additional stolen parts.
Nineteen year old Mikeal Albert O’Neill now stands charged with break and enter, possession of stolen goods, trafficking in property obtained by crime and breach of recognizance.
