Police investigating hit-and-run on Robie

Police are investigating a hit-and-run that happened around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Police say a car heading north on Robie Street hit a 32-year-old man in a marked crosswalk near Jubilee and took off.
The man wasn’t injured and police say he was able to give them a description and plate number for the car, but they have not provided that information to the public at this time.
Police spokesperson Cst. Pierre Bourdages told News 95.7 they are still looking into the incident and charges are possible.
“Once we do locate the driver, we’ll have to speak with him and try to understand exactly what happened there,” said Bourdages.
