Small drop in gas prices expected this week

Very little change is expected to be coming to regulated gas prices in Nova Scotia this week.

Our newsroom is predicting that when prices are adjusted at midnight they will fall by only about a penny per litre.

George Murphy of Consumers for Fair Gas Prices told News 95.7 despite some volatility on the markets this week, the seven day average shows very little change.

“Keep in mind you average out seven days, rather than just the one,” said Murphy. “It could possibly carry over into next week if it continues.”

There was a small drop in New Brunswick overnight, the price fell by 8/10ths of a cent to a new maximum price of $133.2.
