Record breaking lottery prize up for grabs

A national lottery is in record breaking territory. Friday’s Lotto Max draw is worth $100 million.

Atlantic Lottery Corporation spokesperson Lindsay Shannon tells News 95.7 records will fall.

“The Lotto Max draw has one $100 million in jackpot prizes up for grabs making it the largest top prize pool in Canadian history,” says Shannon.

One $50 million prize is available, along with 50 different draws for $1 million a piece. Shannon says the previous record was a Lotto Max draw back in 2010 that had 49 $1 million draws along with the big $50 million prize.
