23-year-old charged with stunting

Halifax Regional Police have charged a 23-year-old man with stunting this afternoon. 

On Friday, around 1:30 p.m., a traffic unit officer stopped a driver after radar pinged his vehicle going 156 km/h on Highway 102 in Halifax. 

The young man was handed a fine of $2.422.50 and had his license suspended for seven days. 

HRP also charged the driver for passing on the right side of the road.

The vehicle he was driving was impounded.
