Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) opened a new cardiology clinic at the Mumford Professional Centre in Halifax on Tuesday.

This site will offer cardiology consultation services, including both new and follow-up assessments, as well as electrocardiogram tests (ECGs), cardiac ultrasounds and stress assessments.

“The new location allows us to offer additional clinics and diagnostic procedures, improving access to cardiology services,” Michelle Morrison, Health Services Manager, Heart Health Ambulatory Care Services, said.

The cardiology clinic also offers the advantage of being outside the downtown core and having free parking.

Patients awaiting cardiology appointments may be scheduled at the Mumford Road location. They should check their appointment letter to confirm location details.

If patients have questions about their appointment, they should contact the clinic directly at 902-473-8517.
