Ingredient in certain Hello Fresh, Chefs Plate meal kits prompts recall

By Canadian Press

Hello Fresh Canada is recalling several of its products over fears they may be contaminated with salmonella.

It says a red chili ingredient in certain meals and Chefs Plate meal kits could have been exposed to contamination of that ingredient.

They were sold in Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island and Quebec.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says there haven't been any reported illnesses linked to the products.
