Blue Rodeo to make Halifax stop in October

Blue Rodeo will make a pair of Maritime stops this fall as the legendary Canadian band marks the 30th anniversary of the release of their ‘Five Days in July’ album.

The band will play Moncton’s Avenir Centre on Oct. 21 and then Scotiabank Centre in Halifax on Oct. 22.

“We have a rare opportunity to revisit ‘Five Days In July’ in its entirety,” said Blue Rodeo’s Jim Cuddy. “This being the record’s 30th birthday, we thought we would do a few special shows and play the record front to back. Should be fun.”

Blue Rodeo Fan Club members will get the first shot at tickets for the maritime shows on Tuesday, with tickets going for general sale on Friday at 10 a.m.

Tickets for the Halifax show will be available online at Scotiabank-centre.com,  evenko.ca and livenation.com.
