Halifax police investigate break-ins at two parking garages on Larry Uteck

More than two dozen vehicles were broken into when two people accessed two separate parking garages in Halifax on Sunday, according to police.

Both break-ins happened in the 200 block of Larry Uteck Boulevard early on Sunday morning.

In a media release, Halifax Regional Police say about 15 vehicles were broken into in one garage, and another 11 in a second garage.

The first suspect is described by police as a white man with a slim build who was wearing dark boots, blue jeans, a gray hooded jacket, a green baseball-type hat and a scarf.

The second suspect is described as a white man with a slim build and a short beard, wearing all-dark clothing and a black baseball-type hat with a red Toronto Raptors logo.

The suspects left the area in a four-door Volkswagen, police said.

“Police encourage anyone who believes their property may have been stolen from their vehicle to file a report with police,” the release said.
