HRP investigate car-pedestrian collision in Halifax

A ramp to the Macdonald bridge has reopened as police continue to investigate after a person was struck by a driver on Tuesday morning.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. near the intersection of Barrington Street and Artz Street. Halifax Regional Police says a 27-year-old was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The incident led to police closing the Barrington Street on-ramp to the Macdonald bridge. The ramp has reopened to traffic as of Tuesday afternoon.
Police have not provided any further detail on the crash, only saying the investigation is ongoing.
