Regulator uses interrupter clause to drop diesel price

The price of diesel has gone down overnight.

The Nova Scotia Energy Board invoked the interrupter clause last night, saying the change was necessary due to significant shifts in the market price for oil.

Diesel has dropped 7.1 cents to 172.6.

There’s been no change in the price of gasoline.

The board will make its next weekly adjustment on Friday morning.
