In a release, the NSLC says it is partnering with Halifax Transit to offer free rides across the municipality Friday from 6 p.m. to the end of service in order to help people get home safely for the summer.

In additon to the two-night festival at Garrsion Grounds, the Halifax Wanderers will be hosting Pacific FC at the adjecent Wanderers Grounds Friday night.
The initiative is part of the NSLC’s Safe Rides program and supports its responsibility campaign, What Are You Willing to Miss?, which encourages Nova Scotians to plan ahead, not drive impaired and choose a safe way home.
