Freight train and car collide in Pictou County

No one was injured this morning when a freight train and car collided at an unmarked crossing at the Concorde Road, Glengarry Station near Lansdowne in Pictou County.

RCMP say the Pontiac Sunfire was empty when the Truro-bound train came just after 11am.

The three engines and 76 storage cars owned by Cape Breton Railway all stayed on the rails.
