NSLC stores expand operating hours

By Meghan Groff

The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation is expanding its hours of operation.

As of today, most stores will be open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 5 p.m.

Some smaller stores may have different hours.

Just under a month ago as a province-wide lockdown kicked in, store hours were reduced to allow for enhancing cleaning during the third wave of COVID-19.

NSLCs continue to operate at 25 per cent capacity as per provincial regulations, so lineups outside stores are possible.

The NSLC is asking customers to do the following:

  • wear a mask,
  • practice physical-distancing by staying six feet apart,
  • pay with cards to avoid using cash whenever possible, and
  • not shop in stores if you have travelled outside of Nova Scotia or are experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms.
