Halifax author takes home 2021 Governor General Literary Award

A Halifax author has been named as one of the recipients of this year's Governor General Literary Awards. 

Hannah Moscovitch won the prize for Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Classes, a play published in July of 2021, in the Drama category. Moscovitch is a playwright, TV writer, and librettist.

There were 14 categories up for the Governor General award, seven in English and seven in French. 

A total of 70 finalists were in the running.
