Nova Scotia Power has activated its Emergency Operations Centre.
If you're planning to drive and encounter an intersection with lights not working, treat that intersection as an all-way stop.
In addition, police are asking drivers to avoid the intersection of Larry Uteck Boulevard and Hammonds Plains Road due to the traffic lights not working and deteriorating road conditions.
