Mooseheads shutout Wildcats 2-0

HALIFAX – The Halifax Mooseheads topped the Moncton Wildcats 2-0 Friday night at the Scotiabank Centre.

Benoit Olivier-Groulx put the Mooseheads on the board in the second period with his 18th goal of the year.

Samuel Asselin followed up in the third period to seal the deal and give Halifax a 2-0 victory.

On Saturday, the Mooseheads will welcome the Charlottetown Islanders to the Scotiabank Centre for their last game before the Christmas break.
