Halifax building experiences second arson call in one week

A building that houses a number of businesses in Downtown Halifax has once again experienced a fire, believed to be a second arson crime this week.

Halifax Police reporting this morning that at 3:45 a.m., they were called to 5545 Clyde Street.

According to police, no one was injured in the fire and it was put out quickly.

The scene is currently being held by police and fire officials while an investigation takes place.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, a fire call came in at the same address.

Anyone with information is encouraged to call police.
