Halifax Pizza store robbed; HRP continue search for suspect

Halifax Police say they are investigating a robbery at a Halifax pizza shop where an alleged suspect took a small amount of cash before fleeing.
According to HRP, on Friday at approximately 11 p.m., police were called to the Pizza Pizza restaurant on Joseph Howe Drive, for a robbery in progress.
Police say the suspect produced a weapon and obtained a small amount of cash prior to fleeing area on foot.
HRP K9 unit assisted patrol members with preliminary investigation, along with members of the integrated general investigation section.
An investigation is ongoing.
