Suspect arrested in relation to stabbing that left man with serious injuries (update)

A suspect has been arrested after a man was rushed to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Halifax Regional Police believe the victim was stabbed inside an apartment on Roleika Drive Tuesday night.
At around 6 p.m. yesterday, someone called police after spotting a man walking down Caledonia Road with what appeared to be blood on his clothes.
Soon after police received a report of an attempted robbery at knifepoint at the Main Street Dairy Queen.
A similar incident occurred minutes later at the nearby Sobeys on Tacoma Drive.
Police spotted someone matching the suspect descriptions on Tacoma Drive at around 6:15 p.m. He was arrested and taken to police headquarters on Gottingen Street.
Officers were then called to the Roleika Drive apartment at around 8:15 a.m. Wednesday where they found a man inside with stab wounds.
Police believe the same suspect is responsible for both robbery attempts and the stabbing. They also suspect he knew the victim and stole some electronic equipment from the apartment.
The 29-year-old Dartmouth man remains in custody and police say charges are anticipated.
