Police believe hit and run linked to shot fired

Halifax Regional Police are investigating after finding a spent shell casing on the ground.

Officers were called the area of Walnut Street and Jubilee Road at around 8:30 p.m. Thursday.

They were told a vehicle crashed into an unoccupied parked car, and that's when they found the shell. Investigators believe the two are linked.

Police say they have not received any reports of injuries.

Anyone with information or video from the area are asked to contact police at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
