Halifax Regional Police continue to look for information on a 30-year-old missing persons case.

Leslie Anne Katnick was reported missing to Montreal police on November 4, 1991. She had been living in the city and was last seen by friends and family there on November 1 of that year.

Investigators discovered Leslie Katnick had registered to stay at the Halifax YMCA on November 2 and returned the key on November 4.

Her bank card was also used in Halifax on November 2, 1991.

“Investigators believe there are people who have information about Leslie’s disappearance and urge these people to come forward and share anything that they remember, no matter how small the detail,” said HRP in a news release.

Anyone with information about Leslie’s disappearance can call police at 902-490-5020.

The case is also part of the province's Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible. All calls to 1-888-710-9090 are recorded and those who come forward need to provide their name and contact information, and may be called to testify in court.
