Police investigating after school bus thought to be struck by unknown object

UPDATE: Police say they have found no evidence to suggest that someone had thrown or directed an object at the bus. The bus has a jagged two-inch oval-shaped hole near the roof on the driver’s side. At this time, the cause of the damage to the bus remains undetermined.

Halifax Regional Police are investigating after a school bus was struck by an unknown object.
They say no students were on board when the bus was hit by the object in the area of Hilden Drive and Herring Cove Road at around 8:30 a.m. Monday.
No one was injured.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
