Police looking for missing 10-year-olds (update: found safe)

Update

In relation to the earlier missing youth media  release made at 9:55 p.m. tonight, both youth have been located safe, in good health and are being returned home.

Police would like to thank members of the public for their assistance as it relates to the positive outcome of this matter.

Original release

Halifax Regional Police are seeking the public’s help in locating two missing youth, Cameron Renouf and Hayden Wheaton, both 10 years old.

Both were last seen near Inglis Elementry School, located at 5985 Inglis Street, Halifax at approximately 8 p.m.. tonight. Both were seen leaving this location together.

Cameron is described as 5' tall, slim build, dark brown hair, wearing a fall jacket with hood, baseball cap and light color pants. He also has an earing in one ear.

Hayden is described as slightly greater than 5' tall, medium build, light brown hair, wearing a dark colored t-shirt only, dark jogging pants and dark color sneakers.

There is no information to suggest that either have met with foul play, however, police are concerned for their wellbeing given their age.
