Police search for suspect after south end break-in

Halifax Regional Police are looking for a suspect after a break-in during daylight hours earlier this week.
It happened at around 2:20 p.m. on Tuesday on the east end of Inglis Street.
Police say a man broke into a home and was stealing electronics when he was confronted by the residents.
The man told them he had a gun before running off, but no weapon was seen and no injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as black, around 6'1″ and heavy set with black curly hair. He was wearing a blue medical style face mask, a dark blue hooded sweater and baggy grey sweat pants.
Anyone with information or video from the area is asked to contact police or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
