RCMP investigate armed robbery in Sheet Harbour

RCMP are investigating an armed robbery in Sheet Harbour.

They say a man with a gun went into a Highway 7 business at around 5 p.m. Tuesday and demanded drugs from an employee before leaving the store with narcotics.

No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as in his 20s, just under 6 feet tall and a slender build. He was wearing blue coveralls, a black mask, white gloves, a blue and white neck covering, and black sunglasses, and was carrying a green Sobeys bag.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Halifax District RCMP at 902-490-5020 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
