Two arrested for firearms offences after traffic stop

A man and woman are facing weapons offences after a vehicle was stopped in south end Halifax on Sunday.

Regional police says officers pulled over a vehicle just after 7 p.m. on Grafton St.

According to police, a firearm was found in the car and the pair were arrested.

The man and woman are expected to appear in court at a later date to answer to a number of firearms related offences.
