Drakkar top Mooseheads 5-2

The Baie-Comeau Drakkar topped the Halifax Mooseheads 5-2 on Sunday.

After a scoreless first period, Evan Boucher opened up the scoring in the second, giving Halifax a 1-0 lead.

Nathan Baril tied things up for the Drakkar moments later. 

Boucher eventually answered back with his second of the evening to make it 2-1 Halifax heading into the third period.

Baie-Comeau came back strong early in the third period as Evgeny Sapelnikov and Xavier Fortin scored back to back goals in the opening minutes.

Evgeny Sapelnikov added another to extend the Drakkar's lead with Felix Gagnon following up with an empty netter to make it 5-2.

The Mooseheads will make their way to Rimouski to take on the Oceanic on Tuesday.
