Islanders top Mooseheads 5-1

The Charlottetown Islanders are back in the win column after picking up a 5-1 win over the Halifax Mooseheads.
Lukas Cormier put the Islanders on the board in the first period.
Robert Orr tied things up for the Mooseheads in the second but Bailey Peach responded to keep the Islanders' lead.
Thomas Casey made it 3-1 Charlottetown heading into the third period.
Casey added to the Islanders lead early in the third period while Brett Budgell followed up to make it a 5-1 final.
The Mooseheads are back in Charlottetown on Tuesday to take on the Islanders.
