The Halifax Mooseheads are back in the win column after defeating the Charlottetown Islanders 3-1 on Saturday.
After a scoreless first period, Mathieu Cataford netted the first goal of the evening, giving Halifax a 1-0 lead in the second period.
Owen Phillips found the back of Charlottetown's net late in the second period to make it 2-0 Halifax going into the third.
Brody Fournier scored an empty netter late in the final period but Keiran Gallant answered back to prevent the shut out loss.
The Mooseheads are back in the Scotiabank Centre on Thursday when they welcome the Drummondville Voltigeurs.
