Mooseheads top Wildcats 4-2

The Halifax Mooseheads defeated the Moncton Wildcats once again after picking up a 4-2 win on Monday.

Josh Lawrence struck first for the Mooseheads, giving the Herd a 1-0 lead near the midway point of the first period.

David Moravec made it 2-0 a few minutes later with Lawrence following up with his second of the afternoon to make it a three goal lead.

Moncton got on the board early in the second period thanks to a Miles Mueller marker with Connor Trenholm following up minutes later to bring the Wildcats within one.

Brady Schultz netted a goal late in the second period.

Moncton wasn't able to mount a comeback in the final period as Halifax topped the Wildcats 4-2.

The Mooseheads will now make their way to Victoriaville on Friday when they take on the Tigres.
