Mooseheads wrap up road trip with 7-5 win over Rimouski

The Halifax Mooseheads ended their Quebec road trip with a 7-5 win over the Rimouski Oceanic.

Alexandre Tessier opened up the scoring with Liam Kidney answering back to make it 1-1. 

A pair of goals from Elliot Desnoyers and one from Robert Orr made it 4-1 Halifax heading into the second period.

Alexander Gaudio netted one of the Oceanic early in the second period.

Cam Thomson followed up to bring Rimouski within one.

Attilio Biasca extended the Mooseheads' lead in the third period to 5-3.

Desnoyers completed the hat-trick late in the third period. 

William Dumoulin and Thomson brought the Oceanic within one but Desnoyers picked up his fourth goal of the evening to seal the deal for Halifax.

The Mooseheads will make their way to Moncton next Tuesday to take on the Wildcats.
