ATV, firearms go missing from garage

RCMP are investigating a theft of firearms and an ATV from a home in Lake Echo.
The owners of the Linda Lane residence told police yesterday their garage had been broken into Monday night.
RCMP Corporal Joe Taplin says the suspects got inside by breaking a window, then broke the lock of a gun locker.
“We believe possibly around 2 a.m., some neighbours thought they heard a noise around then, like an engine starting up,” says Taplin.
Three rifles and two shotguns were taken and a 2000 green Honda ATV 4-wheeler.
