The Transportation Safety Board is investigating a small plane crash in Yarmouth that left the pilot in critical condition.
The four-seater Cessna was headed from Greenwood to Yarmouth when it apparently had engine problems just before 2 p.m.
RCMP Sgt. Michael Lacroix tells CBC the pilot tried to make an emergency landing on Argyle Wharf Road, but didn’t have enough space – and the plane crashed into a tree.
The three people on board were taken to hospital. The two passengers suffered non life-threatening injuries, but the pilot suffered serious head injuries.
