Road rage victim punched and has car window broken

A weekend road rage incident has RCMP in Halifax looking for a young man who probably has some nasty cuts on his knuckles.
Friday evening on St. Margarets Bay Road, a 20-year-old man was merging in his Ford Escape by Exit 2 near Highway 103. A silver or gold newer style Honda Civic came along to merge in as well.
“The Honda didn’t have enough room to merge in and then pulled in behind the Ford Escape and started tailgating and honking their horn,” says Cpl. Joe Taplin with RCMP.
The driver of the Escape eventually pulled over on St. Margarets Bay Road to let the Civic pass, but instead the Civic pulled in behind him.
“A female driver exited the vehicle and started yelling at the victim,” says Taplin.
Police say a male passenger in the Civic then got out as well.
“The male came up and punched the driver-side window out and then took another swing at the victim, punching him in the side of the face,” says Taplin.
He cut himself punching the window. Police are looking for a stocky man in his early 20s, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-10. He was wearing a striped short-sleeve shirt. Police are asking anyone who saw it happen to call them or Crime Stoppers.
