Subway robbed by man with a knife

An armed robbery at a Subway restaurant in Dartmouth last night.
A man with a hood over his head and a bandana covering his face entered the Subway on Main Street just before 10 p.m.
The robber pulled out a knife, and demanded cash.
Staff Sergeant Brenda Zima tells us the clerk did the right thing by handing over money from the till.
“We don’t want anybody to put their lives at risk,” said Zima. “We ask people not to confront suspects in this situation certainly if they’re armed with a weapon, and this particular suspect was armed with a knife and he did produce it.”
Police have not made any arrests at this point.
The suspect is described as a 5’9″ white man, 17-20 years of age. He was wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans.
