RCMP investigate links in North Preston shootings

RCMP are investigating whether shots fired at two North Preston homes in less than a week are connected.

A home on Lake Major Road was sprayed with bullets late Sunday night after a home on Cain Street was fired on last Monday.

CTV reports that house is the last listed address for Roger Downey, who was charged with attempted murder in the non-fatal shooting of Marchello Williams last October.

The charges were withdrawn just days before Monday’s shooting.

The house that was shot on Friday is listed as Williams’ home.

Police won’t confirm who lives in the homes now, but say it’s part  of the ongoing investigation.
