N.S. gas prices jump by 2.5 cents

Nova Scotia’s gas prices have gone up as predicted.

The new self-serve price in metro for the next week  will be $1.08.3, an increase of 2.5 cents a litre from Thursday.

Diesel took a bigger jump, rising 3.6 cents to a maximum price of $1.05.1.

At this time last year, gas was selling for 90.4 cents a litre in metro, while diesel prices were set at 93.2.
