N.S. gas prices take surprise plunge

We were a little off the mark with gas price predictions this week, but fortunately the mistake was in the right direction.
Regulated prices were expected to stay the same overnight, but they’ve dropped by 1.9 cents a litre.
Regular self-serve is selling for $1.05.2 in metro today – about 13 cents higher than the 92.3 cents a litre it would have cost at this time last year.
Diesel prices have dropped as well, but by only eight-tenths of a cent.
